After the new remodeling and change of ownership of this restaurant, I can say that the quality and taste of the food has improved immensely. The ambience of the restaurant also transformed into a bright and cozy neighborhood restaurant after its remodel. I ordered the galbi tang and seafood stone bowl and both were delicious. The soup for the galbi tang was flavorful and had plenty of meat. I had every drop of my soup because it was so good. The seafood stone bowl had a generous amount of seafood and flavor to it as well. This meal somewhat reminded me of a home cooked meal my mom would make for me! Yummy in my tummy!

Been here few times, overall impression is soso
Pros:
Out of all the Korean restaurants in Champaign area, this restaurant gives you the most side dishes. Like actually quite a lot which I like about. The service is not bad, not horrible but not exceptional amazing.
Cons:
The food quality is just decent. When it comes to the bbq or meat related dish, I think they use the same sauce base. We ordered two different pork dishes but they basically tasted the same cause the base sauce is same.
They dont really have much drink option other than soda. -

The food is excellent. We ordered the pork and chicken stir fry. My friend found the food a tad hot for her, but we both agreed it was delicious. The chef came out and asked for our opinion, which was a huge plus. Prices are very reasonable and neither one of us could finish our meal.. lots of delicious food. The waitress, while polite seemed, slightly disinterested and detached. The new owner has done an amazing job.

Restaurant loses a star because service is SLOW and inattentive. In several visits I have consistently waited 20 - 30 minutes to be served my entree (which takes 10 minutes elsewhere). Sometimes they have been very full with just one waitress, but other times I've been the only customer there and they still keep me waiting and don't check back after serving me.
Food is consistently ok but not spicy enough and soup broth isn't rich or flavorful. Banchan (for one) portions are about 2 Tablespoons. Most recent visit was given only 6 kinds (no choice) but previous visits got 10. Diners at adjacent table got more, and more were spicy.
Credit card charge includes a 12% tip!
Upsides include free parking. And the Korean places near campus provide even fewer Banchan. -

Food is ok. I could definitely tell that the meat isn't as fresh as you want them to be. I had better Korean food for sure.
